Sharks and Crafts with Heidi Stavinga

In honor of Shark Days at Mote: Real Sharks, Real Science, dive deep into the world of alcohol inks with local fine artist Heidi Stavinga! She will be hosting a series of demos in the Aquarium Courtyard for adults and guppies alike, and she will be working on some of her latest pieces in between. Take a quick peek or spend the afternoon observing her craft and asking Heidi questions about her techniques. There will also be a craft table set up for children to try their hand at making their own underwater inspired pieces.

Heidi will be in the Courtyard next to the SharkTracker exhibit from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. The children’s craft table will be set up from 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
