Creative Arts Collective SRQ and Harvey Milk Festival Present: A collaboration of Shannon Fortner and Mac Melrose | "FOR THE NOVEL" | Queer ♥ Opera.... a dance and sound surreal exploration into the bits and pieces/ the fabric that makes up our individual stories and outlines the way we see and tell our narrative to ourselves. An installation piece and collaboration between long distance friends. How does our art inhabit this world? Who sees it? Who enters this space? What does it all mean? Modern dreamland meant to take your mind out of the reality you have been making around yourself and see yourself through a different lens. 

This performance piece is also a fundraiser to expand our Performance Art Program for Harvey Milk Festival, that started two years ago. We are always expanding our programming trying to bring more to our community to inspire, inform and embrace the arts as a catalyst for change.
