2018 Sarasota County Farm Tour

Time: 9am to 4 pm. | Details: This is a bus tour to 5 farm locations along the Fruitville Rd corridor, including Blumenberry Farms, Seneca Farms, Grove Ladder Farm, Homestead Farm, and FL Native Plant Nursery.  Our intention is to promote public awareness and support of our local farmers and farms, and their operations in local foods, food enterprises, and agri-tourism.  In addition, we will provide a lunch served at the Sarasota County Farm Bureau featuring ingredients from our tour farms and prepared by a local Sarasota County caterer. | Event organizers: Transition Sarasota and Sarasota County Extension.  Current Collaborators: Sarasota County Farm Bureau; Slow Food of Greater Sarasota.
