HERS: Carr-Petrova Duo

March 03, 2024 See All Dates 3650 17th Street, Sarasota, FL 34235 Violist Molly Carr and pianist Anna Petrova present a concert performing pieces from their new album, "HERS," a celebration of female composers from the 1100’s to the present day. In a pre-performance presentation, they will speak about the composers and their impact across music history. “HERS” vibrantly celebrates the vision, strength, resilience, and incredible accomplishments of eight fearless women – from the 12th century’s Hildegard Von Bingen to today’s Beyoncé.This event takes place on the first Sunday in March, Women's History Month.
