His work possesses his fear, euphoria, distortion of perception, audacity, and his quest for self-actualization. When words cannot express the essence, he turns to art. When he is pondering he uses art to evoke his emotions through shapes and colors. He often brings the two together in a full visual immersion of his transition.
Thomas Fabian is a documentary and street photographer who began his career after graduating with honors from the New England School of Photography. He quickly gained recognition in Boston’s art scene. A brain tumor sidelined him for over a decade, and now he has returned with a new drive to explore his life's passion for revealing the unnoticed through photography.
Growing up during WWII, Mayer Kersun was first inspired to draw the fighter planes and comics he would see in the daily newspapers. He has pursued art seriously since retiring and studied at the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts. His medium is primarily acrylics and collage and his inspiration comes from the history, accomplishments and extraordinary people of the US.
The gallery is open Monday through Friday 9AM to 6PM and Saturdays from 10AM to 5PM and is located at 340 Central Ave. in Sarasota's Rosemary District.
