Clint Michael

Originally from Burlington, Indiana, Clint Michael is a master of oak and smoke who puts careful preparation, the highest level of care and quality and a whole lotta love into Brick's pit.  After joining a friend’s restaurant in Galien, Michigan that specialized in smoking game meats, Clint was hooked.  He left a 20 year career in commercial aviation to pursue his true passion of smoking meats.  In 2012, he moved to Florida where he attended culinary school to further hone his craft.  He’s been smoking with Brick’s from the beginning, and now oversees our entire pit operation and our custom-built Oyler, lovingly known as “Big Red.”
