Not Venice's First aactWorldFest
This isn't the first time Venice has had top billing for the aactWorldFest. Venice also hosted the event in 2010, at that time called the international community theatre festival. That event was so well received by attendees, critics, performance troupes, volunteers and the leadership that Venice Theatre was invited for an encore performance.
Worldwide Talent
This year's schedule will showcase work of troupes from Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, China, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Latvia, New Zealand, South Africa, Togo, and Greenville, MS, USA. Most of the productions will be performed in the country's native language in styles of comedy, drama, opera, puppetry and much more.
