For more than 65 years, the Sarasota Orchestra has been entertaining music lovers from around the region, and visitors from around the world. The 80-member professional Orchestra performs more than 125 classical, pops and family concerts each year, and thrives as the oldest continuing orchestra in the state of Florida. With four exhilarating series, the Orchestra offers patrons a diverse mix of concerts from September through May. Masterworks Series 

Hear the classics. Programed by Music Director Anu Tali, the Orchestra's hallmark series of seven powerful concerts feature guest conductors and guest artists from around the globe. Each concert features one or more of the most popular works of the classical repertoire. 

Pops Series

This season the Orchestra presents three vibrant Pops concerts featuring guest vocalists straight off Broadway stages, the music of Disney (with film clips), and acclaimed Pops Conductor Jack Everly for a concert of music from the Sixties.

Great Escapes Series

These audience favorites mix popular music with light classical works. Great Escapes concert themes include: favorites from the 60s, beloved holiday tunes, American classics, Broadway scores, movie themes, and light classics.

Chamber Soiree Series

Chamber music lovers enjoy this concert series, featuring performances by resident ensembles of Orchestra musicians.

Sarasota Music Festival

Held for three weeks each June, the Sarasota Music Festival is a magical combination of youthful promise and acclaimed talent that carries a reputation as one of the finest classical-music events in the nation.
