Providing some of the most anticipated events in our area, The Circus Arts Conservatory leads the way in cultivating and enriching circus legacy on Florida's Gulf Coast. Enjoy everything from professional world-class circus arts productions, to student productions of "The Greatest Little Show on Earth". Adults and children can enjoy a hands-on experience through a circus arts class which are offered throughout the week for all experience levels. Our one-of-a-kind summer camps teach children circus arts disciplines and then showcase their new skills with a costumed performance. Yes, we have something for everyone! The Circus Arts Conservatory is home to Circus Sarasota, Sailor Circus Academy - as well as education and humor therapy outreach programs - and is the only501(c)(3) non-profit educational performing arts organization dedicated to sharing the entertainment, education and enrichment of the circus arts in Sarasota. Offering a full and incredibly entertaining performance, Circus Sarasota, the performance sector of The Circus Arts Conservatory, provides big and bold, internationally-acclaimed, professional performances that run from November through February, and a summer production at the Historic Asolo Theatre. The training sector, The Sailor Circus Academy, is home to America's oldest and most beloved youth circus. Hailed around the globe as the "Greatest Little Show on Earth," the Sailor Circus Academy features spectacular performances by area students, trained in various circus arts disciplines, including everything from clowning, juggling and unicycle to the flying trapeze, high-wire walking, aerial silks and more. The Holiday Shows run in late December and Spring Shows begin the end of March. The Circus Arts Conservatory offers incredible Education and Humor Therapy outreach programs that help thousands throughout the community each year. Conveniently located in central Sarasota, and just minutes from Siesta Key Beach, St. Armands Circle, and The Ringling, The Circus Arts Conservatory is known throughout the community as a premier organization for entertainment, training and outreach. Sarasota has earned the title, "Circus Capital of the World" and ever since 1927, when John Ringling relocated his winter circus here, has played a leading role in the circus arts.
