This scenic 10-mile trail was developed by Venice Area Beautification Inc. with assistance from the city of Venice and Sarasota County. With five miles of bicycle or walking trails on either side of the Intracoastal Waterway, it connects to The Legacy Trail at the Historic Venice Train Depot, 303 E. Venice Avenue in downtown Venice. The Venetian Waterway Park connects downtown Venice to he Venetian Waterway Park connects downtown Venice to Caspersen Beach Park. The park is home to scrub jays, alligators and bob cats, especially on the southwest side.
