Nathan Benderson Park is a Sarasota County owned park that is managed by the Suncoast Aquatic Nature Center Associates, Inc. (SANCA). SANCA is a not-for-profit business created to promote and manage Nathan Benderson Park, a community/public asset and world class, multi-use sports venue. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for our community and be an economic generator for our region. NBP offers:
• 600-acre community park which includes a 400-acre lake
• Multiple paths around the perimeter of the lake including a 3.5 mile trail
• Dog friendly
• Located parallel to Interstate 75, between University Parkway and Fruitville Road exits
• Lake features a permanent FISA Class A 2,000 meter sprint rowing course, the only one of its kind in North America
