Come experience Florida's  LARGEST natural and cultural history Museum! Take a ride through space and see Florida manatees all at the South Florida Museum. Explore the evolution of Florida from pre-historic times to today. We have our notable Mastodon skeleton, Smilodon, a 16th-century Spanish chapel replica and a 60,000-gallon manatee aquarium. Experience space close-up at in our all-digital Bishop Planetarium. Live manatee presentations and planetarium shows daily.

Family Night - first Saturday of most months, 4 - 9 p.m. HALF PRICE ADMISSION
All families are invited to our popular themed Family Night events. Kids enjoy fun and games while learning something cool! Parents and friends can experience the Museum, Aquarium and Planetarium for HALF PRICE admission!

think + drink (science) - second Wednesday of most months, 7 - 9 p.m. FREE EVENT
This program allows people to come learn and ask questions about science, space or any topics related to our discussion. Beer, wine, soda and snacks available for a small fee.  
 
Stelliferous Live -  fourth Wednesday of most months, 7 - 9 p.m. FREE EVENT
This program invites the community to come and sit under the digital stars in our all-digital Planetarium theater to learn and discuss things in the current night sky. Beer, wine, soda and snacks available for a small fee.
